I'd hate to trap her after building some trust, but she really needs help. We're calling her Smoky and we can pet her a bit but she's still very defensive. I have the claw marks to prove it.
She's covered in huge mats of fur and she'll need shaving as well.
She's older and so likely will never be domesticated but she's a sweet cat and we'd like to give her the best life we can. We'd be grateful for some info if such a thing exists.
