Science is Asymptotic to Truth
The scientific method approaches “truth” or natural law via experimentation, but it can not prove anything because experimentation can not prove that something is true in all parts of the universe all the time. Math is required to do that. That’s why laws, like the laws of thermodynamics or motion, have mathematical proofs. Everything else is just a good guess based on observation or experimentation.
That is why, by its nature, the science can NEVER be settled. Only math can do that.
