•It does not mandate permanent ceasefire and release of all hostages
•It keeps Israel occupying Gaza
•It keeps Israel controlling the Rafah border
Israeli officials tell Axios Netanyahu only said he accepted the proposal because he knew Hamas would reject it. Reminder that 2 months ago Hamas accepted Israel’s proposal & then Israel went back on its own proposal. Absurd Political theatre as genocide rages on. This is utterly horrifying.
