As far as open source alternatives to Data Dog go, OpenSearch combined with fluentd/fluent-bit is an incredibly powerful stack. If you're looking more for advanced analytics, there's also grafana and Percona's distribution of it (pmm) is especially useful if you have relational databases in your stacks.
