I don't think it's at all guaranteed that we'll get a change of government at the next election: the Tories are massively unpopular, but the combination of widespread voter apathy and FPTP means they could easily get a majority government with about 20% of the vote.
And if we do, who knows what then? I think the only thing I'm prepared to say about Starmer is that he'll probably be better than Sunak. A frighteningly low bar.
