The property manager for my home changed in the middle of the past year, and now it's renewal time.
First, they sent an offer of a giant increase now, and a modest increase next year, if I sign a two year lease.
While I was thinking about that, I guess they got nervous (the rent is already a little above average), and offered me no increase if I renewed immediately.
I said sure, and they sent me a 54-page lease agreement. 54 pages? Really?
