The peasants did not rise up when the sacred ritual (理) of marriage (婚) was replaced with sodomy (雞姦). The peasants did not rise up when their best and brightest children were taken and transformed into court eunuchs (太監). They have had weapons and plowshares this whole time. Why would they rise up now?” Xiao shook with rage, declaring the Master to be blackpilled (敝), and went to the next town center. The scholars were shocked, and asked the Master if he truly was blackpilled. He replied: “Heaven (天) is longsuffering, and the junzi (君子) must cultivate many virtues if they are to reclaim the Mandate of Heaven under a new duke. If the peasants rise up now, what sort of State will replace the current one? Patience (耐心) is not blackpilled, it is Wisdom (智).”
