Hard to tell from this angle. Midway between side and back is ideal.

A few things--keep thumbs on top of the bar--as the weight goes up, you're going to tend to try and support the weight with hands which will cause tendonitis in elbows. Find the 'shelf' on your back and pin it in place with downward pressure from palms. Pinching shoulder blades together will help you find this shelf.

Socks aren't optimal. Barefoot would be better if you had to (but probably not possible at a commercial gym). Non-compressible powerlifting shoes are going to be worth it as weight goes up. Will help with stability.

Depth could be a touch lower--you want the crease of your hip to be just below knee. The top of the thigh should be parallel to floor.

Think about sending your hips straight back as your knees come forward, folding at the hips, taking nipples to knees.

Think about keeping the bar over mid foot the entire time--this is the master cue and will solve a lot of problems with mechanics and timing

Keep pushing!
