I kept trying to explain this to my colleagues a while ago. There was a study where (if I remember correctly) people worked four 8-hour days (or roughly equivalent) but were paid as if they'd worked five 8-hour days. It worked. They were equally or more productive. My colleagues kept taking about working more hours over fewer days, missing the point entirely. It needs to be called something other than "4 day week" in order for people to understand (and companies to not exploit it)
