What about a hybrid system? Might lead to centralization in the long run but could be used until there’s a breakthrough in torrent speed, couldn’t media still be hashed and in torrent form, and the user could choose a particular gateway for images in their client, which would be a large cache for the images and hence, faster than implementing a full torrent client in a mobile device?
