Video of a car passenger intentionally assaulting me on San Pablo Ave in West #Oakland around 5:20 this afternoon (June 7). The passenger struck me on the side of my head and helmet, knocking off my glasses. Thankfully, I did not fall over. I am physically fine.
The car was waiting behind/alongside me at a red light on West St, and attacked me as we turned the corner into San Pablo after the light turned green. I was in the bike lane the entire time, and had no prior interaction with the car. The car is a black Nissan Altima with CA license plate 7HFV146. Be careful out there, folks! I love riding bikes, and this won't stop me.
