Never, ever, ever would I attempt a through hike of the Enchantments Lakes in January. Even with a good forecast. Mega gain and descent, slippery, rocky slopes. I did do it in mid-October, with a gentle forecast and no snow. This guy is damned lucky to still be breathing. 😳
