I gave Proton Wallet (npub18s4…ydrt) crap about the compensation negotiation poison pill in their developer job application form, but it now looks like that was a bit harsh since Proton (npub18q5…rs6f) is moving to a nonprofit structure: https://proton.me/foundation
That’s a pretty huge move. Massive respect. They definitely need to pinch sats in that case. I just wonder if removing the profit motive boosts or harms their chances to accomplish what they set out to do. e.g. Mozilla Firefox vs. Google Chrome 🤔
