So I put Ubuntu on a 2017 Intel MBP, right? SSD. 16GB of RAM.
From the jump, 24.10 feels way faster and more responsive on this Core i5 than Monterey ever did.
I keep hitting the CMD key when all the keyboard shortcuts in GNOME default to CTRL tho.
15 minutes of research and a restart later and I’ve got XKB swapping CMD and CTRL instead of rewiring my muscle memory. I even remapped CAPS to the ` key like I do on all of my QMK keebs.
