Complaining works. I filed a complaint with Hawaii's Public Utility Commission that the only interisland shipper was going to take two months to deliver my car from Oahu to Kauai (it's 100 miles). They're considered a utility as they are an organized crime ring/monopoly. My state rep wrote the company a letter and, presto! My car will now be delivered in 10 days. They somehow found a spot for it...
(Hawaii is full of corruption btw.)
