Vokainen on Nostr: Meanwhile In Ohio... ...

Many times I think it was those born in the late 60s / early-to-mid 70s (Thus, becoming adults from the second half of the 80s onwards) that actually got to experience first-hand the wonders (Pun intended) of the brave new post-modern world that came up when the wall fell.

The only difference is that later generations got exposure to the Internet from a much younger age, and thus could at least vent about their problems there, and now we got some degree of recordings to establish a point of reference.

But those that were there just before, not even that. Surely it wasn't mainstream media going to talk about how people coming of age from the 90s onwards were increasingly finding it difficult to find stable prospect in life, or a decent life at all, for that matter. You probably know that better than me.
