Ones that come to mind are the souls games, I think they have little to no value as a 'do this, do that'. when a full walkthrough/guide has a tone it can have a story, which makes them worth looking at even when you've already beaten the game.
An article for a specific section or puzzle etc should be more informative exclusively, maybe a paragraph at the end pointing to a walkthrough where the fun stuff is.
