Need "Very Serious People" to stop talking about "polarization" like it's a bad thing. I would in fact like people around me to be as "polarized" as possible away from fascism; but this is not reality. The fact is, there is no "happy middle spot" between "fascism" and "giving a fuck about other people" and that our society pretends to exist in that state, is a very big part of why we're up shit's creek without a paddle while fascists move towards their ultimate goals with the quickness.
