a couple weeks ago I finally got fed up about missing important emails in Gmail's auto-filtering system I'd been using for the last ten years and I have to say going back to just one email inbox is so goddamned freeing.
Also? I unsubscribe from anything I don't read regularly, which was probably the point of Google adding a "promotions" tab you ignore for weeks: so people could be zombie members of mailing lists they don't read, forever
