At early invited screening of Merchants of Doubt(2014), couple sat next to me & we chatted. He gave me his card. I thought he can’t be THE Daniel Ellsberg, but it was. He’d read MoD book, wife Patricia Marx had not. Afterwards, she said driving back across Bay Bridge not fun, let’s go for tea. We then spent a few hours in amazing discussion of potential civilization-enders: climate change, asteroid hit, nuclear. Daniel added pandemic (natural or not). Condolences to Patricia.
