It would be a system that mirrors trust in real life.
People do get betrayed by people they trust. And it'll happen on Nostr too no doubt. The WoT tools will need some manual overrides to accommodate those situations. Or genius methods for detecting trust dropoffs preemptively.
Or someone you know offline that you want to manually trust without them having to pass thr algorithm.
