Hawaii was bombed (Pearl Harbor Dec. 7, 1941) because a country shut down Japan’s bank account by freezing their assets then confiscating the money. (They call it “sanctioning.”) They had no access to $ to buy goods nor oil so their people were in major need.
Fast fwd to today. Russia had its global bank account shutdown.
So we aren’t surprised that the BRICS nations are looking to stop using the global reserve currency. No one nor no country wants their bank accounts frozen. How do you live, how do you eat, how do you plan for tomorrow? You can’t.
The real question is: did the major power plan for a conflict?
I would have to say yes.
What do you think?
