Perhaps unsurprisingly the richest 1% of the population (that's people with incomes of around £500k or above) are the majority cause of emissions... while the rest of us (to varying degrees) suffer the consequences of the #climatecrisis.
If you wanted a picture of how modern society is structured to advantage a global rentier class exploiting the rest of us, this would be it.
