i didnt really start til I was almost 22. on rare occasions starting at 18 my parents let me drink small amounts of wine, but I never felt it for some reason. my friend’s 21st they had fireball shooters and I sipped on one or two, again didnt feel it. after I turned 21 I would occasionally take small sips of my dad’s whiskey without him knowing but it was so strong I was deterred from having more. I didn’t start drinking for real until a friend dragged me to the bar and I reluctantly had 2 beers (which i disliked but finished to look cool). that made me actually feel drunk
