"content": "Eagle Cap Wilderness: Day 3\n\nBegan the day by fording a swift river for the first time. Exhilarating! Then headed up Polaris Pass. What started as a beautiful climb through Lupine and other wildflowers turned into steep scree with about 4 inches of footing in places. Didn’t love that. Was very relieved to make it to the top. Slipped descending some melty snow on the backside of the pass but recovered.
