I would offer an alternative PoV on that statement, whether they be Republican or not there are no saints in politics.
Politicians, particularly the crooked ones change parties like people change socks, whenever it suits them.
So labeling them as a party and saying it like THIS party is the devil but the other one is not so bad is pointless and futile.
