I don't know if you can find them with the metal cans anymore though. Metal cans means the actual electrodes can be restored by running a regeneration cycle on them. I know there's some plastic cased Chinese ones but YMMV.
For lithium, I have 840Ah @48v lifepo4 - chose that chemistry because they don't do thermal runaway and should have around 3000-6000 cycles to 80% capacity (still very much usable) although they can still cause a fire if you wire them improperly.
