Joint venture of Prats at Cos d'Estournel; Symingtons at things like Dow's and Graham's Port. But 2005 was only a few years from its debut. This Touriga Nacional-dominated Douro blend (then lots of T. Franca) started disjointed, the fruit maybe showing a crack. It improved with air and became pleasing, but not as impressive as price ($90-ish newer years) would suggest.
Soft, without much backbone, it does have a bright feel, dances lightly. Drink up, even if it holds. #wine #portugal #douro
