Oh yes, I remember the repetition phase so well 😅..also reading aloud and constantly varying the story and slipping into other characters with voice , gesture and sometimes costumes pushed my own creativity. My daughter's reaction was so wonderful. Constantly demanding that these variations be made as exciting as possible or that completely new stories be told has also led to some lovely traditions, such as receiving a new story every year until her tenth birthday, which my sister or/and me had illustrated and written, mostly about unicorns or wild Girls like Pipi Longstocking:) But I also remember us falling asleep after 3 sentences and me waking up with back pain in the middle of the night in a much to small bed😆
