btw if you have multiple computers in your LAN, interacting with each other:
Set up NTP.
You don't need a GPS time source or a good connection to some Stratum 1 server. Just set up some ntp daemon (ntp, chrony, or whatever you have handy) on each of them, pointed at your distro's default NTP pool.
If you feel fancy, add them as each others' peers.
The goal is to have them within 1 second of each other. Which you won't get if you set the correct time once and forget it.
