It was my idea to replace FexEx delivery of EPK's on 3/4" tape with satellite feeds to TV stations. Hundreds of tapes + overnight fees? Get outta here! It was the standard.
Columbia was my first client; I saved them a ton and word spread. They were a client until Guber/Peters arrived and brought Warner Bros. PR staff w/ them, '89.
Other EPK production companies began offering satellite delivery. Columbia was a fat contract. A dozen movies a year x 4 yrs.
