Why is that I can feel great giving a fun, dramatic voice over read for something... but when I play it back, all I hear is a super shitty sounding read from an amateur buffoon?
I mean, I understand that there are acoustic considerations at play, what with our skull and ears and such, but... honestly, I hear this played back and it makes me put the mic away and wonder why I even bother trying. It's like, I don't hear the character I was envisioning and trying to give voice to -- I just hear "me putting on a bad voice".
