Mr. Trump has ushered in a new era. The question is what does he want to achieve?
The backlash is expected and inevitable, which is understandable. This was already done in the 1930s and it has been shown that it led to nothing but a trade war. In 1995, the WTO was created to liberalize world trade with success for all involved, bringing prosperity to small countries as well. What will be the consequence that in my opinion it promotes the recession and represents an egoistic problem which is owed to the person without a far-sighted guarantee of success.
