regarding chlean education I noticed that kids younger than me (back when I was in my early and mid 20's) were taught more advanced subjects in earlier grades, this is forgive me the word, progress, however it quickly turned the other way and now kids are only taught degenerate stuff and muh pinochet dictatorship and muh humae rites.
It's like for a while Chile enjoyed a little capitalistic golden age, that didn't last half a decade.
