Also, it's funny because Windows is much more extendable than your typical L'Eunuchs+GNOME desktop. Hell, there are shell replacements/augmentations for Windows like WindowBlinds (https://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/). With GNOME+Wayland, stuff like this is impossible unless you're willing to throw out GNOME altogether.
