It helps me remember that I am not the only one going through difficult times.
I realized that people not only experience different things in life, but they experience things in life differently, meaning that what may not be a big deal for one person can completely devastate another because of accumulation of events, personality types, etc.
Also, reading the Psalms helps me heal.
