Minibits provides both nostr identity to which ecash can be sent over encrypted messages and a lightning address to receive payments or zaps.
Nostr address can not be used anywhere else because nsec key is never exposed and is solely used for decrypting incoming ecash.
Lightning address is meant to be added to your public nostr profile in order to receive zaps converted to ecash into your Minibits wallet.
