I really wonder if the “person of interest” would have been found if literally the whole Internet hadn’t been posting (supportive) memes with their photo.
The first rule of photographing protests is: DON’T!
The second rule is, if you’re going to do it anyway: DON’T SHOW FACES or other uniquely identifiable aspects.
