I think there are some signs however of de-fiatization, resulting in deflation pressure. I am on the fence on inflation or deflation for de-fiatization.
For example, fiat supply is currently decreasing.
Yes the state could print and buy it all, but they can't break the law, central banks are forced legally today to target inflation. Come what may.
They can fake the statistics, but how much?
