Rented a scooter from “Spin” which is a rename end-run around SF’s denial of operating license to Bird.
These scum required a $15 account balance to start. They then tacked on a $0.50 “Fair Wage Fee” to my first ride. No human was involved in the transaction. Such “junk fees” are now illegal here in CA.
What do? Dispute the charges? Pick my favorite class action ambulance chaser?
