For me it was when I had a coworker do the primary lead for Ten Years After for me. We both used Logic so I was able to give him my project file. When he returned it he told me he’d done five takes and I could just comp out what I liked best. Had no idea what he was talking about, so he showed me. I’ve never not used comping for parts since then, it’s been a total godsend.
