Picked up Ziggy and discussed our options. It boils down to 6-12 months of medical management or a $7000 surgery. We're going to try the medical route for now. She said we can change our minds at any time but she didn't get the surgery for her own dog so I don't feel like she's pushing for the expensive option and it would be a specialist anyway. They are sending the ultrasound out to be ready so no liver answers
