I went to a smallish old fashioned theater that did NOT play pre-roll ads at ear splitting volume. They were staffed by sufficient numbers of people and sold snacks for non-extortionate prices. It was clean and comfy.
Maybe I don’t actually hate going to the movies? Perhaps I simply despise Regal and AMC.
