i don't know what kind of weird propaganda this is, but if you actually read the text, they are not talking about a "bug" or "dangerous code". They are saying that if you scan the WRONG QR when linking devices, the WRONG DEVICE gets linked, which is duh...
the exact same attack works in the exact same way on any other device linking service.
