It seems that strategically it's important for Nostr to develop abilities to subscribe or otherwise get more stuff read-only from Twitter, so we can discuss it here.
Let's face it - most of interesting stuff is still happening on Twitter, so I do want to see it.
But I don't care about posting on Twitter, because frankly other than the headlines and biggest drops, the rest of the stuff there (people's discussions) are mostly noise. And without paying your feudal tithe no one will see your posts there anyway, and Musk put that view counter there to make you acutely aware of it.
So the strategy is: make it easy to discuss stuff from Twitter on Nostr, among people who are much higher SNR than those on Twitter. Use opponents strength by directing it into your favour.
How could it technically work? Maybe a browser extension that would add "re-post on Nostr" to your Twitter feed. That would be hard for Twitter to block.
Maybe some bots aggregating best Twitter content in the given area. Maybe something else. The goal is to make using Nostr better than Twitter, even for following and discussing Twitter stuff.
