But yes, you are correct.
This city is emblematic of a failed monetary policy regime that plagues most blue jurisdictions in the U.S.
It's not their credit card, so they have no qualms making up celebrations and spending our money on stuff that 90% of the taxpayers couldn't give 2 f@cks about.
But I won't get started.
While I do still have a home there, my primary address changed last year. All they get (for now) is my property taxes. And I'm working on plugging that leak from p&l.
