I find it strange that people keep commenting on the number of plugins required to use #Neovim, but IDEs like VS Code don't seem to be held to any standard regarding extensions. Out of curiosity, I just opened VS Code, to see how many extensions I was using when I switched: It was more than 90. Even if you allow for the fact that some of those extensions were installed for one-off tasks/projects, it's still notable that it’s more than twice the number of nvim plugins I use.
