I talked to a couple of gen-Zers tonight and wow. We have some work to do.
They think that since we are against teenagers permanently modifying their bodies with hormones and surgery, we hate all gays and lesbians. How did these two completely different ideas get conflated? Being same-sex attracted is not the same thing as sterilizing yourself physically.
