The problem was power delivery to individual soldiers, not a big truck with a satellite dish on it. If you have trucks, you don't *need* this.
And nobody's delivering 10 pounds of water and 2 pounds of food per soldier per day by satellite, so if you can deliver them that, you can give them a box of AA batteries too.
