"AI" is a meaningless marketing term, and always has been. "Large language model" (LLM) is more meaningful, but because of the "AI" terminology, people talk about them in highly misleading ways. LLMs do not "learn", they don't "understand", they don't "create": they're heuristics to produce statistical models from content, and can be used to produce more content that conforms to that model.
If you say your product or service has "AI", I'm unlikely to want to use it. I don't like being lied to.
